Terms & Conditions
1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the online store and the purchase of rare and used books made available through this website. By placing an order, the user declares to have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
2. Products
The books sold are used or rare copies. The condition of each book is described as accurately as possible, including marks of use, annotations, wear, stains, or other signs of age. The user acknowledges that they are purchasing second-hand items and accepts any imperfections.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices include VAT at the applicable legal rate when applicable. Shipping costs are presented before order completion and vary depending on destination and package weight.
Payment is made through the methods available in the store (credit card, bank transfer, or other indicated means). The order will only be processed after the payment has been confirmed.
4. Availability and Stock Reservation
Items are unique or exist in very limited quantities. Availability is updated in real-time, but it may happen that two orders coincide for the same copy. In such cases, the first paid order will prevail. The store reserves the right to cancel orders in case of out-of-stock situations.
5. Deliveries
Orders are shipped within a maximum period of 5 working days after payment confirmation. Delivery times depend on the carrier and the buyer’s location. The store is not responsible for delays attributable to the shipping service.
6. Returns and Claims
As the items are used and unique, returns are only accepted if:
- the product received is substantially different from the description presented on the website;
- serious damage during transport is verified.
In these cases, the customer must contact us within a maximum of 14 days from receipt, sending photographs of the item and the packaging.
Return costs are borne by the customer, except when the error is attributable to the store.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website (images, descriptions, texts) is the property of the store or the respective rights holders and may not be reproduced without prior authorization.
8. Liability
The store is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or the purchase of products, including data loss or business interruption.
The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided during registration and ordering.
9. Privacy and Personal Data
The data collected is used exclusively for processing orders and commercial communications, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. The customer may access, rectify, or request the deletion of their data by written request.
10. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
The store reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect from the date of their publication. Periodic review of these terms is recommended.
